Description of the BCP Hub Transformation
Our team was tasked with the complete spatial and technical transformation of the 4th floor of the Eurobank building. The objective was to create a resilient, high-capacity Business Continuity Plan – BCP hub, combining rigorous banking security standards with modern workplace ergonomics.
From the initial demolition to the final certification of the data network, our team ensured that Eurobank’s 4th-floor facility is resilient, compliant, and ready for immediate operational use
1. Site Preparation & Demolition
The BCP Hub transformation began with a total “strip-to-shell” phase to maximize the 1,000 m² footprint. Our team managed the controlled demolition and ecological disposal of:
- Existing partitions, wall claddings, and built-in cabinetry.
- Total removal of old carpet, flooring, and skirting boards.
- Specialized removal of window sun-protection membranes and Venetian blinds.
- Full strip-out of existing sanitary ware and toilet facilities.
2. Construction Works
To rebuild the space, we implemented high-durability materials designed for high-traffic corporate use:
Drywall Systems: Installation of new plasterboard partitions and moisture-resistant ceiling claddings.
Flooring: Supply and precision installation of heavy-duty vinyl flooring and premium granite tiles in common areas.
Joinery & Openings: Installation of new interior doors and the restoration/maintenance of existing cabinetry to ensure sustainable material use.
Climate & Light Control: Application of high-performance sun-protection films on window panes and the installation of horizontal Venetian blinds for optimal thermal comfort.
Surface Finishes: Full-scale painting of all new and existing surfaces using eco-friendly, low-VOC coatings.
3. Electromechanical Works
The core of this project was the development of a robust technical backbone to support (105) primary workstations and a total infrastructure for up to (150) points:
Power & Connectivity: Installation of (60) new in-floor service heads providing direct power and data access.
Data Integrity: Full termination and official certification of the structured cabling network to ensure seamless banking operations.
Safety & Security: Deployment of a comprehensive security suite, including a new CCTV network, advanced fire detection systems, and emergency safety lighting.
Climate Systems: Installation and commissioning of new split-type air conditioning units for localized climate control.
Plumbing: Complete reconstruction of the water supply and sewerage networks. This included the construction of specialized WC facilities for people with disabilities (PWDs), equipped with dedicated sanitary ware and an integrated emergency announcement system.
